About Us

Swedvision Automation AB started its operations in 1989. Initially, we focused on inspecting processed wood products. Our journey began as a supplier of inspection systems but has gradually evolved into delivering complete machines and cells. In all our solutions, one or more cameras always play a central role.

The company is currently owned and operated by Andreas Frostenäs, Dan Parsmo, and Tommy Svedlund. Together, we have approximately 50 years of experience in vision systems. Today, we employ 8 people and focus on applied image processing within the Nordic manufacturing industry.

We put our customers’ quality and automation needs at the center and design solutions that are simple, tailored, and scalable. Our strength lies in our extensive experience with applied image processing across various industries and environments. Together with our partners, we consider ourselves unique in the market. We are proud to have helped our customers improve quality and increase automation levels for over 30 years.

The industries we primarily focus on are wood, flooring and interiors, food, and the automotive industry with its suppliers. Our product solutions range from ID systems and robot guidance to large-scale putty application plants.
